Manage project plans, budgets, risks and progress throughout the delivery lifecycle
Work with suppliers to explore capital investment proposals and automation opportunities
Ensure projects meet health and safety, engineering and food-safety standards
Establish and improve engineering standards that support efficient project delivery
Lead performance trials and use the findings to improve equipment and processes
Communicate progress, risks and decisions clearly to site leaders and other stakeholders
Who you are
An engineer with a background in electrical, mechanical, chemical, process, industrial or another relevant engineering discipline
Technically confident enough to understand engineering problems and work effectively with subject-matter experts
Experienced in delivering capital engineering projects within a live manufacturing or operational environment
Comfortable managing several projects of different sizes, including detailed improvement work as well as larger investments
Familiar with managing contractors, suppliers, risk assessments and safe systems of work
Knowledgeable about machinery safety and Construction Design and Management regulations
Able to balance technical, operational and financial considerations when assessing project options
An effective communicator who can bring together people with different technical and operational perspectives
